Arriving by aeroplane
Salzburg’s W.A. Mozart Airport is small and easy to navigate. Without any long gateways, but with all the comfort of a good airport!
You will find further information and current flight times for the most important airlines on www.salzburg-airport.com.
By taxi to the hotel:
The taxi ride to the hotel takes approx. 20 minutes. If you sit next to the driver, he will be certain to give you some insider tips. Although it is said that the inhabitants of Salzburg are reticent, they are in actual fact quite chatty. The trip costs approx. 20 euro. You can tell the driver to go through the city (alternative: motorway). You will travel via Maxglan and through the Neutor directly into the city centre. You will pass by the festival house and cross the state bridge to reach the left side of the historic centre.
By public transport to the hotel:
If you prefer to take the bus, take the Obus 2 (trolleybus line) in the direction of the centre until you reach the bus stop Wolf-Dietrich-Strasse. Follow the Paris-Lodron-Straße against the driving direction and turn left into the first street. Follow the Wolf-Dietrich-Straße. You will find the Altstadthotel at the upper end of the street on the right-hand side. Taking the bus takes a little bit longer but is not that expensive.
Shuttle service to/from Munich Airport:

You will be picked up from the airport and taken directly to our hotel in the city centre of Salzburg with small busses for a fee of 46 euro. We are happy to arrange the shuttle service for you.
