There’s a small and exclusive spa waiting for you in the basement of the four-star Hotel Wolf-Dietrich – the only one in Salzburg’s historic city centre with a swimming pool with jet stream. Swim as long as you want thanks to the counter-current system. The indoor pool is only one of the amenities of the modern spa oasis. The Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and rest room invite you to relax and rest every day from 8 am to 10 pm.
The spa area can be found in the main building of Hotel Wolf-Dietrich. It can be accessed from your room via lift and stairway. If you’re staying at the annex Residenz, all of you have to do is cross the street (pedestrian area!) to access the spa. There’s a changing room waiting for you. Use of the spa area is already included in your room price. If you’d like to book a pleasant massage, you can do so with your room reservation or at reception upon your arrival at Hotel Wolf-Dietrich.

The only hotel swimming pool in Salzburg’s historic city centre! Ideal for swimming, water gymnastics and aqua jogging. Dimensions 3.6 x 7 m, water depth 1.4 m.
The classic ensuring healthy sweating and maximum relaxation with a temperature between 80 and 100 °C and dry air. You can perform your own infusions.
Oriental steam bath
45 °C and 100% humidity have a pleasant effect on your skin and respiratory tract. The gentle path to well-being, deep cleansing and relaxation, also suitable for circulation-sensitive spa guests.
Intense deep warmth alleviates muscle tension, calming music and individually selectable coloured light therapy ensure peace and a positive prevailing mood.
Rest room at the spa

Where do I receive bathrooms, slippers and bath towels for the Wolf-Dietrich spa?
Find cuddly bathrobes in your rooms. Bathrobes for children and terry cloth slippers can be found at reception. If you stay in one of the apartments, you’ll get your bathrobe from reception as well. Sufficient towels are waiting for you at the spa.
Spa etiquette: Where should I wear swimwear and where shouldn’t I?
The spa with sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin is an area for nude bathing. We ask you to wear your trunks and swimsuit in the adjacent pool area. You can borrow a small selection of swimwear for children and adults at reception.
Can I listen the music at the spa area?
At the infrared cabin, it’s up to you whether or not you want to listen to music. You’re treated to gentle relaxing music in the rest room.
Are drinks available at the spa?
Enjoy vitalised Grander water from the tap at the spa area from a sufficient number of cups. The energised water fosters the positive effect of the sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin.
At which age are children allowed to use the spa and the swimming pool?
There’s no age limit for the indoor pool. However, there’s obligatory supervision for all parents of children up to age twelve, as there’s no pool attendant on site. The nude bathing area is open for guests aged 16 and older.
May bath toys be brought to the indoor pool?
Out of consideration for all guests, it is not permitted to bring water balls, bath toys and sand toys. The entire spa area is designed to be a place for relaxation. Thank you for your understanding!
When should I book my massages and how can I pay for them?
Best reserve your desired appointment together with your room reservation. Depending on availability, the reception team might be able to offer you massage appointments on short notice. The treatments are added to your room bill.
