Cycling through the Mozart city with electronic assistance
The Mozart city of Salzburg is known for its countless sights and walks. However, it is also home to many cyclists who use the ample network of paths for daily errands, as well as attractive tours throughout and beyond the city in their leisure time. Enjoy the highly exciting options on two wheels during a Wolf-Dietrich holiday with our e-bike rental in Salzburg!
Our rental options
Cycling is a lot easier and more relaxed with a bit of motor support, as even longer distances and challenging ascents can be tackled with little effort. Choose from two brand-new e-mountain bikes and two e-city bikes at the Wolf-Dietrich. Helmets can also be rented, as safety always comes first, and not only on the cobblestones.
The Wolf-Dietrich e-bike and e-mountain bike rental in Salzburg costs 18 € for four hours and 25 € for a full day. Please reserve at reception as early as possible.
Attractive e-bike tours in Salzburg
There are over 180 km of cycling paths throughout the city, predominantly in lower-traffic areas along the river Salzach through parks and avenues. We highly recommend the following tours:
The zoo and the fountains are among the reasons why Hellbrunn is one of the most beautiful spots in the entire city. A brief ride through Nonntal past Schloss Freisaal leads to the Hellbrunner Allee – a gorgeous avenue in the heart of the city that’s closed to cars. Hellbrunn Palace with its playground and fountains is at the end of it. The zoo is only a few minutes away.
The city mountains are the perfect place for an e-mountain bike. The ascent onto the Nonnberg and the Festungsberg exposes glorious views. Hohensalzburg Fortress is always worth a visit. We recommend a stop at Mirabell Palace and Gardens on the way back.
- From Salzburg to Bavaria:
Cross borders with this tour through neighbouring Bavaria. The Saalachbrücke bridge takes you to Freilassing and straight onto a stage of the Mozart Cycle Path directly to Laufen. Cross the border bridge to Oberndorf with its Silent Night Chapel. You can either take the Lokalbahn train (with bike transport) back or cycle along the river Salzach on the Austrian side of the border.
We will gladly advise you at reception and can recommend many additional routes and trips on two wheels!
